And I can’t wait for the day when the headline reads “singer with bipolar” instead of “bipolar singer.”
The words we use and the order we use them in, define how we think of these illnesses.
Let’s change them. Together.
(manic depression was actually a great term because it prevented us from saying “I’m manic depression. We had to say “I have manic depression.” )
